EG&R Engineering is seeking a Physical Layout Designer with Substation / Power experience to serve as an integral part of a talented team.
Responsibilities:
EG&R Engineering is seeking a Physical Layout Designer with Substation / Power experience to serve as an integral part of a talented team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include working with a team of Electrical Engineers and Design drafters to generate Electrical layout drawings for High Voltage Substations and / or Power Plants.
Responsibilities will include preparing the following drawings for substation or power plant facilities:
- General Arrangement
- Electrical Equipment Plans
- Conduit/Cable Schedules
- Electrical Details – Section views and elevations
- Bill of Material
- Conduit / Raceway Plans / Cable Tray/ Underground Ductbank
- Lighting, Grounding, Power, Heat Tracing, etc
- Perform facility / substation walkdowns
- Following client’s standards
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not provide Visa Sponsorship.
- Previous work experience as Physical Designer in the Power Industry (substations / power plants)
- Experience in 3D Modeling Plant 3D and/or Revit
- Experience using AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- The applicant must have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to be part of a project team

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
